Who We Are
Our Roots
Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. From the moment we started our work in 2007, we understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Tehani Foundation. We strive to make a positive change in all of our pursuits that we offer for our community. We have over 25 years of performance with Spirit of Polynesia and Merahi O Tehani in the Polynesian Community. Our fundamentals are achieved from a great lineage of kumus and ra'atira. From Tiare Clifford, Nelani Rogers, Kimo Baird, Tennyson Lum, Sybil Pruett, Makau Decuvellerie, Lyntina Perry, Tahia Cambet, and Hirohiti Tematahotoa-Graffe. We are eager to share our mana'o/knowledge for the next generations to come!

Family Approach
Where everyone becomes Family
We take pride in the way that we teach all ages and skillsets. We put love and friendship in our steps before anything else. And find it rewarding when we see our advanced students uplift and help inspire our younger students. Our goal is to ensure students love their dance, have fun as they decompress and heal from everyday life stresses. We give thanks to God for providing us with the guidance from our Kumu's and directors.
Donate
Any little bit can help our foundation with operational costs from office supplies, volunteer appreciation dinner, all the way to overhead costs to operate. We appreciate your support and know that it is going to a good cause for families in our local community!
